School symbol
School official emblem is derived entirely from the university official emblem; called “Rojanakorn” which five parts are embodied in as follows.
- A Sema: signifies wisdom.
- A ewer: signifies being completely knowledgeable.
- Nadoon Buddha relic pagoda: signifies morality.
- Solar rays: signify prosperity.
- Isan Lai Khid patterns: signify Isan local wisdom.
Tree School
The Golden Shower Tree, also known as Ratchaphruek, is a traditional symbol of good fortune. It is deemed to be the school’s tree for sustenance and prosperity.
School Colours are Yellow and Grey
- Yellow signifies prosperity, morality and fertility.
- Grey signifies ideas and wisdom
School history
Mahasarakham University Demonstration School (Secondary) or DMSU was established on January 22, 1997, by Special Professor Dr. Pawit Thongroj, the President at that time, for the main purpose in providing the educational welfare to the offspring of Mahasarakham University’s staff. Nowadays, Mahasarakham University Demonstration School (Secondary) is located in Kamriang campus, Kantharawichai District, Mahasarakham Province.
